Vivian GiudiceAs I look at the website for Aspire K9 Academy, I am sorry that I live in California with my 3 Rottweilers and cannot take advantage of the amazing staff and training/learning opportunities there. I have personally trained with Gary Davydov. He is an amazing trainer and is knowledgeable and experienced in all aspects of dog handling. I will speak here only about how he helped me in the sport of agility, but he has also helped me with obedience, tricks, and behavior issues. In only months, he transformed my easily distracted slow running dog into an enthusiastic high performing dog that LOVES to train and trial. See for yourself in the videos.
Wynne BeersBest Dog Trainer & Dog Guardian Trainer We’ve Ever Worked With! Gary, the head trainer at Aspire K9 Academy, worked patiently with us over six weekly training sessions to help train our dog, Roxie, on basic obedience skills that helped create a stronger bond with her. Gary employs a positive-only approach built on techniques that reward dogs for desired behaviors. Roxie is very food-motivated, so we are able to use lots of treats-based rewards as well as play and praise, but he can also work with dogs who are motivated more by play or praise over treats. He spent a lot of time talking with us about how to work with Roxie between sessions, and he provided a number of useful recommendations to improve Roxie’s daily life at home, which we implemented and have created a happier, more relaxed dog companion. Gary meets his clients in their journey where they are, so he can start from the basics, or he can work with a dog who already has some developed skills. He gives guardians homework to practice between sessions. Clients and their dogs definitely get more out of this when they are willing to put the time in themselves. Roxie wasn’t great at all of the training scenarios initially, but after getting over the hump of figuring out how to do the tasks, the training became very fun and engaging for us and for her. We live within Gary’s service area, so he met us at our house for the first two sessions and gave us advice on improving Roxie’s home environment, which we took to heart. We me him at the Aspire K9 Academy for subsequent sessions, and Roxie benefited tremendously from the indoor training areas and props, as well as from several outdoor training locations and the ability to do a trail walk with Gary. Roxie is our fourth dog, and we’ve had training from three other trainers at two companies. Gary is by far the best, most positively-focused trainer we’ve encountered! Roxie had so much fun during every training session with Gary that she literally wiggled with joy during the sessions, and she followed Gary out when it was time to go home. We loved working with him so much that we signed up one of our other dogs who already has basic skills to complete six lessons with him, and we plan to conduct follow-up training with Roxie later this year or next year to improve upon the initial training she received.
Carolyn FriasI came to Aspire in need of training for my Aussie puppy. I was struggling with him jumping up on people and being a little too excited when greeting anyone. She is a very knowledgeable and patient teacher! I feel like my dog and I both learned valuable skills from Chloe, and his behavior has drastically improved during exciting situations or when greeting people. I highly recommend Chloe and Aspire for your dog training needs!
Eimear McgovernChloe has boarded my dogs on numerous occasions. I drive out of my way to bring them to her when I go on vacation because I can trust her fully. I know that she will care for them and keep them safe. She understands dog behaviour much much more than many people who call themselves trainers, so i feel extra comfortable with her handling my dog who has certain behaviour issues.
Christina TruesdaleI cannot express enough gratitude for the exceptional care provided by Aspire K9 Academy Dog Boarding. My experience with them while boarding my young puppy was simply outstanding. Because of his age and not yet crate trained, I didn't have anyone who could help me during my time of need, and Aspire K-9 Academy staff listened and provided a plan to help. From the moment I dropped off my furbaby, I was met with warmth and professionalism. The staff took the time to understand my puppy's needs and ensured me that he would be in good hands. What truly sets Aspire K9 Academy apart is their dedication to not only providing a safe environment but also actively engaging with the dogs in their care. During my puppy's stay, the staff went above and beyond in teaching him basic manners and crate training. I was amazed to see the progress he made in such a short amount of time. It's evident that the team at Aspire K9 Academy genuinely cares about the well-being and development of every dog under their care. Additionally, I appreciated the regular updates and photos provided throughout my puppy's stay, which gave me peace of mind knowing he was happy and thriving. The facilities are clean, spacious, and equipped with everything a dog could need for a comfortable stay. I highly recommend Aspire K9 Academy Dog Boarding to any pet owner seeking exceptional care for their furry companions. Their commitment to nurturing and training dogs sets them apart as a top-notch boarding facility. I will certainly be returning for future boarding needs and cannot thank them enough for their outstanding service.

Bob RyanChris and Alyssa are amazing! They have the unique ability of explaining complex ideas in a simple to understand manner. They are patient and truly want to help build the relationship between dogs and their owners. I'd highly recommend them for all your dog training needs.
Liesl KrauseChris and Alyssa were so helpful when we adopted a puppy who was resource guarding food. They helped us come up with strategies to prevent it and help him become a more confident dog. He went from anxious puppy to a dog that we can take to patios and do sports with!

Yes, we offer 20% off each additional program of equal or lesser value
Puppies can start private lessons or group classes as early as 8 weeks old, and they can begin a board & train after they receive their final parvo shot around 16 weeks old.
Your dog will stay in our indoor, climate controlled training facility. Gary lives on-site, so your dog will never be without a human for support close by.
This answer varies depending on Gary’s current workload.
The short answer is no, the whole family does not have to be there. However, we find it very helpful if at least the two head members of the household (ex: both Mom and Dad attend the session, and they relay info to the kids later) are present.
Absolutely. We are passionate about our differently-abled handlers, and we dedicate ourselves fully to finding training solutions that work for you, your dog, and any other circumstances involved.
Yes! We are familiar with a variety of gut and diet issues, as well as specialty diets. Many of us have fed raw to our dogs at some point in life, so we still have a deep freezer and all supplies necessary to accommodate raw diets.
We ask that families who have dogs with significant dietary restrictions please bring their own treats. We go through treats quickly here, so approximately 1 pound for every 3 days of boarding is sufficient. If the dietary restriction is simple (no grain, no chicken), we can likely accommodate this on our own without you needing to provide treats.
Absolutely not! We are big believers that every dog deserves an equal chance in life, regardless of breed.
Yes and no. The success of our training is entirely dependent on our client following the recommendations we have set in place for them, and we cannot guarantee everyone will do their homework. So we cannot guarantee that if you spend X dollars you will definitely get X results.
However, we are committed to improving the lives of pets everywhere, and if it is apparent that you have put in the work, we will be there for you. We guarantee that 100%. We will schedule you an extra lesson, allow you to tag along to lessons with other dogs with similar behavior problems, lend you books, send you videos, anything that helps you learn.
We’ll see what we can do
